I registered for this balloting exercise in September and the result is finally out! Out of 10000 over people applied i manage to be so lucky and get a queue number of 140+! That's the fist time i got such a good queue number so i was very excited and happy. I did my homework and know that there are only 200 4-room units for chinese so for my case, it's a sure thing that i can secure a unit. But then after the excitement of discussing about the flat with hubby and then went to do the calculation and realise that we are not able to get the desired amount of loan!! Oh NO!!!!!! Anyway, we are trying to work out a solution also hoping they will revised the price again as the economic and property market isn't doing very good too. For your info, attached is the size and the ridiculous price for the flat.
At first when i knew the queue no and read from forum with almost everyone saying it's a very good investment but knowing that my colleague bought the same flat for only $280,000+ is kind of unfair to me but still that's no choice cos it's been years. (She belongs to the 1st batch). I hope they will revised the price or else we got to forgo this chance and wait for Kim Tian Green or maybe the one at Nile Road. After knowing that Kim Tian Green will be completed by 2011 i felt more console cos usually they will complete earlier than estimated date that's what i think and also, the price will definitely be lot cheaper and it's nearer to my mum place too, that's a good thing as we can fetch and send Gisele over when we go for work easier. Kim Tian Green is not bad too, it's a 40storey flat. I just hope we can get such lucky queue number again lor.. God bless!
