Went to view a 3RM flat located at Blk 132, it's a top floor corner unit. Floor area 70sqm. It's the same layout as our place just that this is at the 10th floor. The Owners are selling at 260k although it was valued at 270k. What we really like about it is, it's a corner, it's big, got pretty good view. This is the first time we are buying flat so we are not sure about the procedures. We have to pay the Agent - John from Dennis Wee 1% of the flat price which is $2600, but i manage to bargain till $500. As for the cash deposit for the flat is $2000 and i manage to bargain till $200. Yah i know, i'm good at it. But we did not put a deposit as we have headache about their ceiling which have this spalling cement problems.. Usually our house will have this in bathroom and kitchen, but their's is almost every where. That's why we are concern how much we need to fixed that. Not to mention they promise to give us $3000 cash (it's actually from our own). Anyway, we went to the house thrice and negotiate again and again. End up when we have make our decision, the flat is taken by somebody else already. Now we are really regret for taking so long to make a decision. Anyway it's too late now. Thinking of it, it's so cheap yet we kept pushing and now somebody else have it..
