1st day of school

Youngest among the group, 18mths, Japanese, Yuri (Likes to steal ppl's water bottle)

1st day of school for Gisele today, not a pleasant one for me though. Firstly, i took half day leave as her class starts at 1pm. Mum called me at 12pm +  and get to know that i'm on only half day leave, she got angry and hung up. I was like. what... Gisele doesn't have to be on time especially it's their napping time when we get there. Anyway, Dear reached before me and fetched her so we met halfway.

When we met the principal, she gave me a shock face which is annoying and she told me she thought it's not confirmed  as she didn't hear from me, but i already confirmed with her that we are coming on the 15th! Told ya, she's a blur f. Then Dear and her talk while Gisele and me walk around to get familiar with the environment. She told Dear that she will get a teacher to coach Gisele 1 to 1 during 2pm to 3pm as teacher came in at 2pm only. But it did not happen that day! We were sitted at a corner the whole afternoon from 1 to 3.30pm until all the kids wakes up, nobody is here to coach Gisele at all. Liar.

Then it was tea break, every kid given a super small bowl of barley, Gisele didn't want to take it of course, a couple of kids didn't take also, the teacher say it's okay, don't force them. But won't they get hungry? She didn't ask if they want milk for substitute.

Then it's taking temperature, she didn't take Gisele's too. Maybe because we are there but don't she have to make sure all the kids are healthy regardless or not the parents are there? Careless i must say.

Then 4pm, supposed to be teaching time. Nothing taught, free time to play again. In fact from the moment the wake up till we leave at 6pm, it's play and play. At this moment, i told Hubby that i think it's a total waste of money for Gisele to come here not forgetting that we saw a couple of kids like 3 or 4 having running nose and worst, the teacher don't seems to care. Would you want to risk your kid to mix with kids who are not well? Not for me, some parents might not care but i do.

So for the whole afternoon, the timetable shows 4pm is time to learn, but in the end there's nothing taught. So it's like we are paying that $300 for my kid to play in a place with virus. Which is crap. I even feel that Gisele seems to be the one who can talk more and respond more even though she never been to school like them at earlier stage.

After we leave, we brought her home to change and clean her and discussed with mum and agreed to discontinue the school for now and wait till she's 31mths old when she can join the older group where there's more activities like learning instead of playing and playing.

She seems very bored in the school, kept standing beside me or Dear or stand at the gate. Kids fighting and been bullied but teacher only noticed when the kid is crying out loud. Another one fall and have a big bump on the forehead, i wonder how she's going to explain to the parents. I seriously don't like the environment and don't feel it's a safe place for Gisele.
