Today is my first day with my new employer, so far everything goes smoothly. Boss seems to be a nice lady, no airs. She may not be rich like that ass i used to work with but she's the MD for a few MNC. Bet she must be really hardworking.. Number of manpower here is limited, mostly non-chinese, only 1 chinese gal + me.. Boo~ But i'm suppose to help setting up the new office and recruit more colleagues too, so i get to choose people i want to work with.. Haha.. Didn't really do a lot of work today as our own office is not ready yet, have to monitor the progress.
When i was selected for this position i was quite surprise as it's a one time off interview although i spent a lot of time waiting here due to the slow coach HR AVP but it's better then going for 2nd interview and then have to spend days or weeks to wait for calls (which i hate a lot!).
Location here compared to TP is not very ideal for me as there's nothing to shop here, just lots and lots of people.. Going to Lau Pat Sa for lunch is so tiring, it's so crowded and everywhere is queue. Sian.. Shall meet sis for lunch some time since we are so close now..
Wonder when is the pay day, can't find a good time to ask..
